Chilpancingo

Chilpancingo (formally: Chilpancingo de los Bravo)a.k.a. Ciudad Bravo is a city in the state of Guerrero, Mexico, located at 17°33'0N, 99°30'0W. It is the state capital of Guerrero. In 2005 the estimated population of Chilpancingo was 214,219. The city lies on Federal Highway 95 which connects Acapulco to Mexico City. Chilpancingo is where the National Congress met in 1813 to discuss Mexico's future as a new nation.
